Dr. Bash is a veteran of

  

Mark D. Worthen, Psy.D. graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Maryland's Psychology Honors Program, and was Commencement Speaker for his college. He earned his Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) degree from Baylor University and was a Clinical Fellow, Department of Psychiatry, Harvard Medical School. He has conducted over 2000 psychological evaluations for courts, attorneys, companies, agencies, and the VA in the areas of work-related disability, disability compensation, workplace violence, fitness-for-duty, death penalty mitigation, competence to stand trial, etc. He served as a Court Psychologist for a Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court in Virginia; a Forensic Psychologist for a community mental health center in North Carolina; and Clinical Consultant to a Drug Treatment Court in North Carolina. For three years he served as Co-Chair of the Law & Psychology Committee of the North Carolina Psychological Association. Since 2010, Dr. Worthen has been a full-time C&P examiner for the VA and he is lead author of the first article published in a peer-reviewed professional journal that describes how to conduct C&P exams for PTSD and other mental disorders.
